Joanna Edwards
Barrister
Joanna Edwards is a barrister specialising in family law. She is part of the Hibiscus Coast Legal Chambers, based in Orewa. Joanna was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2019 and holds a current practicing certificate.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Master of Business Studies with Honours (MBS Hons), and a Ph.D. in Management.
She has expertise in parenting and protection law, and regularly appears in the North Shore, Waitakere, and Auckland Family Courts.
Joanna is a lead Legal Aid provider, a member of the NZ Bar Association, NZ Law Society Family Law Section, and the Family Courts Association of New Zealand.
